Biblical Greek Audio Lessons
It is not necessary, but if you choose to respond to the Hear and Respond lesson by typing in Greek, see the notes at the end of this page.
Every lesson has a set of control buttons at the bottom. They are used to: 1. change the language shown (English or Greek), 2. specify lesson specific user options, 3. navigate between lessons (first, previous, next, last) , 4. get help instructions describing the user interface.
Typing in Koine Greek is self-explanatory except for the following notes.
- Type f for phi, h for eta, x for xi, c for chi, v for sigma-end, q for theta, and y for psi.
- Type /, \, or = followed by a vowel to respectively add an acute, grave, or circumflex accent.
- Type alt together with /, \, or = followed by a vowel to add a smooth breathing to the corresponding accent.
- Type alt together with shift and /, \, or = followed by a vowel to add a rough breathing mark to the corresponding accent.
- Type ‘ or alt together with ” followed by a vowel to respectively add a smooth or rough breathing mark by itself without an accent.
- Type a vowel with alt depressed to append the iota subscript.
